Bleckley Gals Repeat, Sanchez Rolls to Overall Win

Bleckley trio enroute to defending their State title

Defending Champs Bleckley County, as predicted ran away with the 2A Girls team title as the lady Royals placed 4 runners on the All-State team. Coach Cranford's 1-4 had a split of 1:13 which was far and away better than any of the other top 10 ranked squads.

Emily Younglood
Frosh Emily Youngblood paced Bleckley finishing as overall runnerup at 20:55, with Austin Perez 3rd (21:14), Christa Hall 4th (21:18) and Sr Macy Moe 9th (22:08)

Zoe Sanchez
Zoe Sanchez from Union County ran a very strong race capturing the Individual title as junior was unchallenged turning in a very solid 20:04. 

Zoie Marchant
Jeff Davis enjoyed their most successful season in school history as the Jackets' stung everyone (but Bleckley) earning a runnerup team Podium finish. Frosh Zoie Marchant placed 5th overall posting a 21:33

Chloe Purdy
Armuchee raced hard and ended up claiming 3rd as a team earning 2 All-State spots, including Chloe Purdy 6th (21:41) and Kayla Hutcherson 10th (22:19) Banks County claimed the final team podium slot paced by Destinie Martin's 13th place effort in 22:31.

Rounding out the top individials were the Berrien County duo of Hannah Dodd 7th (21:47) and Rebecca Chandler 8th (21:58)
