Editor's Comments

Marietta continues to be the favorite in 7A albeit perhaps not a "heavy" favorite as South Forsyth is likely too close for comfort. Walton and Milton had a nice slugfest in their Area to continue their bid for podium finishes. Hillgrove could make it interesting, but otherwise it seems to be a 5 team race for 4 podium spots with teams like Mill Creek and West Forsyth needing big days to go home with some hardware. It should be noted that Lambert narrowly missed out on qualifying for State which means one of the for-sure top 10 teams in 7A won't run at State. As a result though, they've dropped from the rankings.
