Berry College Clara Bowl Invitational

The Berry Invitational has changed names a couple of times over the past 15 years, but the course is basically the same, located in the heart of the campus. 600 Varsity runners, and 636 JVs from 46 schools, will line up and thunder down the straightaway before hitting the first hairpin turn and head downhill onto the back part of the course. Ga.MileSplit will be onsite for coverage.

Peachtree Ridge won the Boys title in 2015.

Top Boys Teams

Many ranked Boys squads will be competing for the Team title including: Blessed Trinity (whose Varsity gets their first test of the season, Creekview, Harrison   Lambert   Lovett  Mill Creek  Oconee County   Parkview, Peachtree Ridge, Pickens County and St. Pius X. Expect Ravenwood (TN) Siegel (TN) and Spain Park (AL) to be competitive.

Individuals to Watch: 

Look for these guys up front: Chase Condra of Peachtree Ridge,  Sean Parker of Pickens County, and Jacob Ressler of St. Pius X

Chasing them could be: Adrian Hernandez of Allatoona, Blessed Trinity's Ben McCoy, Creekview's  Zac Cantrell, Harrison's  Ben George, Lambert's   Tyler Fox and Lee Kiel, Everett Smulders of Lovett,   Steven Velazquez of Mill Creek,  John Wesley, Jake Hadden from Oconee County, Christian Corsello of Parkview, Matthew Rigsby of Ravenwood (TN) Matthew Rigsby of Spain Park's (AL) Cole Dillard and Morgan Becker and Westminster's  Jack Powers. 

Mill Creek's Girls will try to defend their 2015 title.

Top Girls Teams:

Competing for the Girls team title may be: Blessed Trinity, Creekview, Dacula, Dunwoody, Harrison, Lovett, Mill Creek,  Oconee County, Peachtree Ridge and White County. Some tough out of State squads will try to take home some hardware including: Randolph (AL), Ravenwood (TN), Signal Mountain (TN), Siegel (TN) and Spain Park (AL)

Individuals to Watch:

Should be a great race for the Individual title. Top contenders could be: Serena Tripodi of Lovett, Nyah Hernandez of Creekview, Camryn Petit of Mill Creek, Dunwoody's Samantha Cameron and Kelly May Sheehan. Staying in contact with the leaders could be: Blessed Trinity's Emma Rose Bagwell, Dacula's  Kenedi Rodney, Kira Stanley of Harrison, Mary Katherine Knott of Peachtree Ridge, Jalen Alexander from White County and Oconee County's  Nicole Pachuta. Top contenders from out of state are: Ravenwood's (TN) Annika Sleenhoff, Jamie Blaylock, Signal Mountain's (TN) Taylor Luthringer and Siegel (TN) Victoria Simmons
