American Heritage sophomore Anthony Schwartz (pictured here at the state meet) tore a ligament in his finger and opted out of Flo Golden South, but instead of running the profile meet in Clermont, the 2A 100 and 200 meter state champion headed north to Atlanta for the 10th Annual Mark Trail Flying Eagles Memorial Day Invitational at West Lake High School.

Schwartz won the 100m dash in 10.72 and followed that up with a time of 21.43 and called the meet a get back meet.

"I only trained one day this week due to injury and I had a little back sprain, but for the most part I felt good running. I feel like I'll be back soon.

The speedster who owns personal bests of 10.26w and 20.76w which rank as some of the best times in the nation, added that he will run in the Miami Northwest XPress meet, before heading out to Boston for the Adidas Dream 100 on June 18th.
