This was Jake Shewbert's (of The Branch) time to shine as he was the overwhelming pick to win the 1600m. Jake did not disapoint, as he clocked the fastest time of the night going 4:11.64, never challenged after the the first 300m except for a brief period of time on lap 3 by Jonathan Myrthil of NS Columbus, who had a great race himself, staying very strong throughout earning the Silver medal at 4:18.78.. Shew's splitz were: 1:00, 2:04. Placing 3rd was Jake O'Callaghan of the Branch in 4:19.45 as he nipped Tyler Whorton of Alexander.
