Boys 6A Georgia Olympics Preview

The 6A Boys meet is shaping up to be a possible dual of a team with a few Elite athletes vs a team with many top athletes. Newton has some great speed and hops including Elija Godwin, Alex Sands and Jeremiah Holloman. Plus, they come out of Sectionals with the top 2 relay Q' times. Marietta is strong on the distance side with David Savic and Khayvonn Benson, but also has a sprinter in Devon Henderson and can score well on the Field.

Campbell is strong on the field with nationally ranked Thrower Isaiah Rogers, Jawan Nobles in the sprints and can pick up some relay points. Westlake is led by hudlers Rainey Anderson and Wesley Watkins, and Cameron Murray is a contender in the LJ. Lakeside DeKalb is in good shape to contend for a top 4 spot with distance aces Andrew Kent and Davis Stockwell, while frosh Brian Herron will get his first taste of the Ga Olympics. Look for Archer, Hillgrove, Roswell and South Gwinnett to flirt with putting up 30 or more points.
