Tashauna Smith of Jefferson HS recently committed to Paine College. Smith will join the Lions' track program this fall as she seeks a degree within their nursing program. The 3A state placer in both the 400m and as a member of the 4 x 100m relay team, Smith broke 4 school records during her time at Jefferson including: 400m (57.76), 4 x 400m Relay (4:03.83), 100m (12.80), and the 200m (25.81). Paine College is a member of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
