Quite a different race than the 3200, but in the end, charismatic Jamal Thompson (11:00) from Terrell County was up to the challenge, with an all out sprint the final 200 meters sneaking up on Lanier County's Ryan Roper taking the win by .20 doubling in the distance events putting the 'Green Wave' in prime position to capture the A Public team title. Blake Bargeron from Telfair County led nearly the entire race placing 3rd in 11:06 followed by Adan Martinez from Hawkinsville at 11:08.
