GIRLS OUTLOOK

The 200 and 400's have a clear favorite- Serenity Douglas of Archer at 24.23 and 53.83. Distance events should be dominated by Brookwood, especially by Mackensie Ellison of Brookwood who has run 2:17 and 5:11 in the 800 and 1600 in relay splits at the Coach's Invitational. In the 3200, Camryn Petit, a Mill Creek 9th grader is the favorite. Brookwood and Parkview should also fare well in these events. Collins Hill is strong in the horizontal jumps with favorite Bola Hambolu in the long and triple jump. Brookwood is also strong in these events. The triple jump is particularly strong with 6 jumpers at 36' or better. Jada Dunn of Norcross has the best high jump of 5' 6" but the top 8 have all been over 5' 2". Pole Vaulter Rachel Sherrill of Dacula has vaulted 11' 2" and is a clear favorite. Brookwood is a clear favorite in the 4 x 800, while Peachtree Ridge and Parkview have both run in the 4:04 range for the 4 x 400. The County title could be won by the team whose secondary runners do well and pick up consistent points for places 4-8.
