Marist Girls celebrate their record setting DMR run (12:18.42)
Besides all the new events contested at the 8th Annual Milton Showcase this past weekend (1500 meters, 1 Mile Run, 2-Mile Run, 5000 meters) where the Eagles set 8 new stadium records (4 girls & 4 boys) and 8 new Milton track school records (4 girls & 4 boys), the meet had the following new stadium records set as well:
Girls 200 Meters-Hunter Robinson-Harrison HS-25.05 (old record 25.06, 2009)
Girls 4x1600 meter Relay-Marist School-Josie Wirtz, Catie Faust, Morgan Ilse-Kendall Nelson-21:40.40 (old record 22:06.46, Marist, 2014)
Girls DMR-Marist School-Catie Faust, Tammy Gitonga, Josie Wirtz, Morgan Ilse-12:18.42 (3rd All-Time in GA History!) (old record 12:58.20, Milton, 2012).
