Banks County's boys won the team title on their home course in Homer defeating West Hall by 13 points. Banks' seniors Jose Diaz led the Banks squad as usual winning the Overall title in 17:59 along with teammate Beau Rush (18:19) were key in securing the team title.  Makayla Hewell of Banks County was the Overall champ winning by :54 clocking a 21:20, but it wasn't enough for the host as Dawson County had a tighter pack taking 7-AAA team honors scoring 37 points placing their top 5  in the first 10 spots led by frosh Marley Hamby's 3rd place finish. Kaelyn Deal from Fannin County was 2nd overall in 22:16 leading her squad to 2nd.

Wayne County swept the 3-AAAA team titles but not without some competition on the boys side. But Wayne County came out on top by 5 points when the dust had settled behind Gorge Tlacuatl's 1st place finish in 17:20 and teammates Johnathan Dunn's 4th (17:50) and Moziah Myers 5th (18:00) New Hampstead (a new school) placed 2nd with 35 points with sr Tyler Beck 2nd (17:38) and Marcus Fountain 3rd (17:43)  Wayne County's gals destroyed their region foes in the Girls race sweeping the top 5 spots for a perfecto! Senior Miracle Stanley was the Overall winner going 20:48, followed by Alexis Bunch (22:37) and Brooke Reese (22:58). Moving onto State are all 4 teams with that had 5 runners cross the finish line.

This meet was a tale of 2 completely diiferent races as the Boys side was a duel between Benedictine Military and host Vidalia. The Cadets prevailed as they had a deeper squad winning by 8 points sweeping the 3-6 spots including seniors Grant Lanser in 3rd (18:20) and Alex Fanning (18:22). Vidalia was 2nd as a team with senior Tyler Campbell winning the Overall race in 17:20 and Paul Dixon 2nd at 17:57. On the Girls side ranked St.Vincent's Academy (Benedictine's sister school) blew away the field with a perfect score of 15 points. Sarah Kathryn Boyles was the top medalist posting a winning time of 21:49 and frosh lauren O'Hearn was 2nd in 22:54. On an interesting side note, eveyone qualified as a team with one school having a 33:35 team average...
