Soph Dax Willette from Rockdale County pulled away building a 100 meter lead during the race and won easily in 17:27 leading his team to 3rd place. Archer's team win was bolstered by 3 runners placing in the top 10 including Stephen Yarbrough's 4th place effort of 17:54. Host Winder-Barrow finished 2nd led by Timmy Villameter's 7th place finish. Other top 5 placers were Max Rabin of Johns Creek in 17:47, Aaron Martin of Central Gwinnett (17:54) and West Hall's Riccardo Castruitta (17:59)

Archer senior McKenzie Knudson won the Girls Overall title by a wide margin clocking a 20:45 leading the Tigers to a 3rd place. Johns Creek ate up 5 of the top 10 spots scoring 29 points for the team title. The Gladiators charge was led by freshman Allison Rothrock's 2nd place effort of 21:21, Andrea Colavito 4th (22:25) and Anita Qualls 5th (22:27) Micah Weathers of Winder-Barrow took 3rd overall in 21:52 leading the Bulldoggs to a 2nd place team standing.

What an incredible finish in the MS Boys race as Andrew Scott of Jr Hoyas and Paideia 6th grader Will Reilly were neck and neck down the homestretch as Scott nipped Reilly at the tape by .26 for the win as both runners clocked 11:13. Jamie Jacoby from George Walton placed 3rd overall about 75 meters back in 11:25. The team competition was tight with Jr Hoyas placing 4 in the top 11 positions coming out on top for the 14 point margin of victory over GWA. Paideia took 3rd placing 2 runners in the top 9 including Reilly.

Rabun County made the descent to Auburn Saturday a successful one as they placed their top 5 in the first 12 spots for an easy win. Leading the Wild Kittens was Georgia Stockton placing 2nd overal in 12:39. Katya Bessiere from Dawson County MS won the MS Girls Individual title in 12:27. Loganville MS placed 2nd as a team led by Alaya Lindquist's 3rd overall at 12:47. Junior Hoyas were 3rd teamwise behind Erin Hobbs' 4th in 12:50
