Anna Hayden blistered her pr at Blastow from 2013 by over a minute in hotter conditions enroute to the Race 1 Overall title. Hayden had a great 2014 Outdoor season which has been a factor in her improvement, making her an immediate contender for a 5A State title.

This guy is Prefontaine like (indestructable) Guys try to run him down, and Poteet just motors away keeping separation. Not familiar with the course in spooky Savannah, but our resident 5A expert gives that it's tougher than Blastow's course. Surely Marietta's boys ran as a pack letting him go, but doubtfully would have challeged him. We'll find out at Cobb County in 2 weeks..
