Emma Grace Hurley (pictured above) proved today she is going to be tough in 1A Private by obliterating the field in 18:16 winning the overall Girls Ind title by 2:44...Thee was quite a battle for 2nd with Ashley McMahon of Whitewater (8th grader??) 21:00 outlasting sr Mallory Warren of Woodland.  
 
 
In the team competition Centennial took 3 of the top 10 spots enroute to 61 points and the Varsity title. Sr Taylor Sharple led the way for Knights placing 7th in 21:34
 
JV Girls- There was no 'official' team scores in Girls JV, but 8th grader Jarah Kelly (according to her Boys teamates cheering) easily won the race in 22:25

Reilly Friedman of Galloway left no doubts to his talent as he destroyed the Varsity Boys field and cruised in the final 300 clocking a 15:47 winning by over a minute over Whitefield's Robby Keough (16:47) who was busy most of the race fending off soph Dax Willette from Rockdale County who was 3rd in 17:01.

Whitewater's Boys have high hopes this season and won the Boys team title besting Rockdale by 23 points. Leading the charge was jr Parker Nail placing 4th in 17:04 with Don Harp in 5th at 17:21. Paideia Frosh Griffin McCauley in his inaugural HS race placed 8th in 17:37. Jonathan Butler showed improvement placing 11th in 18:02 helping Rockdale's runnerup team finish
 
JV Boys- Sulaimaine Banguru of Rockdale may not be JV much longer as he won the JV Boys overall title in much worse conditions in 19:08.
