Graham Huff of Westminster Churns to 2A 3200m Gold
The 2A 3200 was fairly wide open compared to recent years, with the first lap splitting around 1:09 with Miller Kettle of GAC leading and Westminster's Huff in tow. Kettle and Huff had a 10m lead after lap 3 with a group of 6 still in contact. Both runners split the 1600 at 5:00..and with lap 6 had extended their lead to almost 40 meters. Huff regained the lead with 700m left and began slowly separating from Kettle pulling away winning in 9:53. Kettle was 2nd at 10:03, Charlie McKnight 3rd in 10:10 and Guthrie Edwards from Pelham was 4th at 10:17.
