ACS could score 60 or more points Thursday as the Eagles are stacked in the Field. Levi Cummings is the favorite to win the PV having a sb of 14-3. he will be tested as 3 competitors have cleared at least 13-0 including Josh Miller of FPD (13-0) James Davis from Tallulah Falls (13-6) and Stockton McGuire of Landmark (13-0) Joseph Ruggiers of ACS could score big as he's the A Private leader in the Discus (145-9) and has a toss of 45-0.5 in the Shot. ELCA's Andrew Williams also could do well in both events (141-4/46-5) Caleb Samuel of FPD comes in with the best mark this season in the Shot at 47-2.5  Jordan Thomas of OLM is a double threat in the Throws also. ACS could sweep the HJ as teamates Demetrius McWhorter and Demarcus Evans have the top bar in A Private this Spring at 6-2. Again, ACS is poised to score big in the TJ as McWhorter (46-1.75) and Josiah Brooks (45-8.5) will be hard to displace with their experience. Christian Coleman of OLM has jumped 24-7.5 in the LJ (best in GA) but he will have some competition from Demetris Robertson of SCA (23-4) and Kevon Hudson from Prince Avenue (22-9) 
 
                                                                                         Relays
 
OLM with Coleman burned a 42.18 at Sectionals,  FPD has the 2nd fastest time in the field w/ a 42.90.  Athens Christian could place 3rd with a pr of 43.11. ACS qualified 2 squads in the 4x400m with their 'A' squad a contender for a Gold (3:24.58) Pace Academy had the best time at Sectionals in 3:23.32.  OLM has the speed to make things interesting.

The twins 'Brooks' of ACS have ran within a stride of each other very 400m race and could sweep the event with pr's of: Justin (49.11) Josiah (50.05) Justin Green from Aquinas could breakup that party with a recent pr of 49.77. There could have been one of those 'Texas Tailwinds' at the Area 3 Championships 100m finals as Coleman clocked a 10.38, with Jeffrey Uzzell of ELCA at 10.50. Hudson of Prince Avenue has a pr of 10.70.  In the 200m dash Coleman has the fastest pr in 21.54, but 3 athletes have a chance to beat him including Hudson (21.59) Uzzell (21.64) and Demetrious Mason from George Walton (21.64)  The 2 top competitors for the 800m title are season leader Robby Keough of Whitefield (1:55) and Avery Cypress from Darlington (1:59)

Kenny Selmon of Pace Academy has competed around the world and he's the hands down pick to sweep the Hurdles with pr's of 13.97/37.16. Jonathan Raines and Christian Moore of FPD can score big team points in the 110h and Naim I Fareed of WD Mohammed is a threat in both hurdles events.

                                        Robby Keough gets soaked winning the 800m at 2013 Georgia Olympics
 
Keough has clocked a 4:18c in the 1600m earlier at Taco Bell, so everyone may be watching his back after 2 laps. Shane Sullivan of Mt.Pisgah, Reilly Friedman of Galloway and Morgan Bishoff of ACS will give chase. Long distance specialists Friedman (9:25) and Sullivan (9:26) could duel in the 3200m race, while Hebron Christian's Trent Johnson (9:47) and Colson Hagan (9:48) will try to hang with the pace set.
