Post Region AAAA Rankings
Regionals began to tell who the top teams are from 3-10 as wholesale changes were made excluding Marist and Heritage-Catoosa (who definitely is beginning to peak and closing the gap on Marist) the hottest action came from 7-AAAA as Heritage showed their strength with a 20:38 avg. and easy win. Pickens shot up to 3rd from 10th placing 2nd and River Ridge moved up 5 spots to 4th. Eagle's Landing stayed put at 5th, Chestatee, Alexander and Veterans dropped a few spots, while strong region races moved Grady and Perry into the top 10. These are not predictions for State.

No big shakeups after Region, some small moves up and down after the top 3. Lagrange had a great race at region and closed the gap on Marist perhaps if they run as well at State. Pickens killed it at 7-AAAA and is a strong 3rd. Chestatee shot up to 5th after a good race on a brutal course at 8-AAAA. Perry and Veterans moved up after nice efforts at 2-AAAA. We'll see how these teams run on the tough Carrollton course.
