Jennifer Barbi posts top Georgia female time at Great American

On Saturday, Jennifer Barbi, of South Forsyth, was rewarded for all of her hard work. The names Borsare, Drouin and Reese are often bandied about as the top names in Georgia women\'s cross country but steadily and methodically, Barbi has worked her way towards the top. Saturday, she reached that pinnacle. Jennifer\'s time of 19:06.6 was just seconds ahead of Emily Borsare\'s 19:09.2 but on this day, Barbi was the queen of the course for Georgia. Under the watchful eye of Clayton Tillery, Jennifer has steadily dropped her times and on Saturday, smiles were certainly easy to come by in the South Forsyth camp as Barbi posted top honors for the day. The big three will no longer be referred to as the big 3 but rather we will see who else can join this oustanding group of runners. Congratulations to all who raced on Saturday.
