The Stephenson MS Track & Field Program is designed to develop academic and athletic excellence in our student/athletes. Our program promotes the ideals of hard work and self-discipline in the classroom, as well as in the athletic arena. We [my staff and I] believe that it is a privilige [for us] to work with the young men and young women placed in our care, and we endeavor to bring out the best in each and every one of them during their stay in our program.

We also stress the ideals of good sportsmanship and class when engaged in competition, for student/athletes should understand that their opportunity to participate in this sport is indeed an honor and should not be taken for granted.

For many of these young men and young women this is their only sport, and for some their participation in track and field has been a wonderful, and in many cases painful, lesson in self-discovery. Our student/athletes have found [and many are still finding] that the rewards for hard work, self-discipline, and unwavering self-determination are well worth the labor invested in acquiring them.

We are excited about this group of student/athletes, and we are looking forward to competing this season. GOOOOO Jaguars!!!!!!!!!
