Fairview Presbyterian, in Lawrenceville, sponsors a 5-K run each fall in an effort to help end homelessness in Gwinnett County. The web site for the run is

This year our Run for Shelter will be held on Saturday, November 12. Registration is at 8 am, the 1 mile fun run at 9 a.m., and the 5-k at 9:30 a.m. It is held at Tribble Mill Park. All proceeds from the run go to Home Sweet Home Gwinnett, a transitional housing program developed by the Lawrenceville Salvation Army.
