MEET OVERVIEW
We will be hosting 3200M runs again on the permanent course the City of Roswell built for cross country with wide running paths and plenty of shade running along sections of the Chattahoochee River. Most of the course is crushed gravel and the rest is grass. As always, great music, good food, awesome T-shirts!
LOCATION
Garrard Landing Park - 8000 Holcomb Bridge Rd, Roswell, GA
PARKING & ADMISSION
We are not parking across the street this year. There will not be any police accommodation for pedestrians crossing Holcomb Bridge Rd. Parking is much more convenient this year (less walking). The fee is $10 per car for on-site parking (this covers admission for all passengers).
No bills over $20 please.
RACE SCHEDULE
5:30-6:30 pm Packet pick up near the finish chute
7:00 pm Boys 3200M
7:25 pm Girls 3200M
COURSE MAP
3200m Course
AWARDS at Park Pavilion (near playground) at 8:00 pm
Individual: Top 20 runners will receive a medal. Top 5 runners will also receive a t-shirt.
Team awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
TEAM BUSES & VANS
Buses must arrive after 5:30 when the bus lane opens at the park. Buses may stay in the park this year (or depart and come back).
TIMING
The Perfect Timing Groupwill provide timing services. One-mile times will also register for each runner. Runners will need to attach chips to their shoes. Volunteers will be in the finish chute to help remove the chips and collect them. Your team will be charged for any chips not returned.
Results will be posted near the park pavilion ASAP. They will also be posted on MileSplit.
TEAM FEES
$150 per middle school ($75 per girls or boys team).
