MAAC:

I apologize for sending this to all MAAC schools. Please note that this meet is for D1 schools only.

Here is the meet information for the upcoming MAAC D1 Cross Country Meet being held in Chastain Park on Monday, September 26th.

1. This meet is for all D1 MAAC schools but has limited entries (7 girls and 7 boys).

2. Race Times:
Girls Race: 4:15pm
Boys Race: 4:45pm

3. An "ariel map" of Chastain Park is attached. This will direct you where to meet and the best place to park. Please arrive early to avoid issues with parking.

4. A "course map" is attached. The course is two loops and will be a total of 2.15 miles. The start/finish area is labeled in yellow. I have also labeled "trip hazards." These are curbs alongside the road. I have also labeled "DOWNHILL: NO PASS ZONE." We recommend, for safety reasons, that this area be a no pass zone. It is a small, narrow stretch with a quick turn. We will have it marked appropriately and have staff supervising but wanted to make sure you and your runners knew in advance. I am happy to meet with anyone to walk the course.

5. No need to email me and tell me your school is coming. Event registration will be done online at ga.milesplit.com. Here are instructions which explain what coaches need to do to register for a meet. This has been placed in the additional information area on the meet page as well. http://ga.milesplit.com/ pages/Online_Meet_Reg_Instruct ions If you are new to ga.milesplit, it could take a day or so to get your team approved once you've setup your school. Please plan accordingly and give yourself enough time to input your entries. Please keep in mind, registering online is mandatory. Do not email me the day before or day of and ask me to let you in without a completed online entry.

6. Awards:
We will not be doing awards for this race after the event. I will send out the results by email after the race.

If a password is needed to register for the event, use "MAAC"
Registration deadline is Friday, September 23rd @ 11:59pm.
Please note that there are sign-up restrictions for this meet.
Each school can only enter seven runners per race (7 girls, 7 boys).
