Meet Information
GISA Cross Country meet for High School and Middle School teams. Coaches Meet at 8 am. We will run the varsity women's 5K event first, followed by the varsity men, then line up the middle school girls 2 mile run, and finish with the middle school boys 2 mile run. Awards for all divisions will follow the last race, with trophies for the top three teams and individual awards for the top 10 individual finishers in each race. Custom T-shirts will be available for sale by our good friends at Eagle Sportz. The starting line is located near the left field foul pole on the varsity baseball field on the Southland campus, 123 Southland Rd., Americus, GA. The finish line is near the visitor's side of the football stadium, also located on the campus. Entry Fee is $75.00 per school payable day of meet to Southland Academy. The fastest times on this course last season were turned in by Jacob Mcleod of Trinity Christian (Dublin) and Deerfield Windsor's Virginia Moore, who graduated this past spring.
