Admission: $ 5.00 (GHSA passes only)
Scoring: 10, 8,6,5,4,3,2,1
Dates: Tuesday, April 19th and Thursday, April 21st (Wed/Friday are available in case of weather)
Entries: 2 per event per gender, 2 relay teams per relay event per gender. Entries will be done online via milesplit and are due by midnight Sunday, April 17th. In addition to the milesplit entry you should have received instructions on loading your rosters to the GHSA website. Ask your Athletic Director about this. Make sure all names are spelled correctly.
Awards: Trophies to the first and second place teams per gender. Medals to first and second team athletes/relays - per gender and event. Ribbons to third and fourth place athletes/relays per event. (Provided by the region)
Seeding: all seed times and marks (except for B relay teams) must be verifiable in the milesplit data base.
Prelims of lane events: fastest seed is in lane 4 in 3rd (or final) heat, next fastest is lane 4 in heat 2, next fastest is lane 4 in heat 1, 4th fastest is lane 5 in heat 3, etc. Top time from prelims receives lane 4. Heat winners also have lane 5 and lane 3.
800m: run in 3 heats with alley start, top 2 per heat and next 2 fastest advances.
1600/3200: top seed is #1, next is #2, etc. (1600m run depending on the number of entries this race may be broken into fast and slow heats, slow heat first)
Field Events: Shot Put, Discus, Long Jump and Triple Jump will all have prelims (3 attempts) followed by finals (3 more attempts)
Best attempt carries over
Strongest flight first
Timing: First Call Timing (paid by the region)
Games committee: 1 coach from each school
Jury of Appeals: 1 coach from each school
Starter and alternate starter: supplied by Griffin High School (paid by the region)
Concessions and Coachs Hospitality: Griffin High School parents

Session 1 Tuesday, April 19th
8:15- Coachs/Scratch Meeting
8:15- Implement Weigh-In
9:00- Boys long jump (prelims followed by finals) followed by Girls long jump (prelims followed by finals) followed by Boys triple jump (prelims followed by finals) followed by Girls triple jump (prelims followed by finals)
9:00- Girls pole vault, Boys high jump, Boys shot put and Girls Discus
10:00- 3200m run (finals) Girls before Boys. If there are more than 15 in either race we run heats by seed, slower heat before faster heat.
10:30 -Boys pole vault, Girls high jump, Girls shot put and Boys Discus

Once started the schedule is a rolling schedule. Unless otherwise indicated, Girls run before Boys.
