This is the GISA Region 3AAA meet hosted by Southland Academy. Each team should enter all of its eligible varsity athletes. Please disregard earlier information which applies to the state, not the region meet. The first race will be the Championship Race for the Men at 4 pm. The Women's Championship Race will follow the conclusion of the Men's Race. All-Region Awards are give to the top ten individual finishers. The top four teams qualify for State. In addition, the top ten individual finishers also qualify for State even if their teams did not qualify. Team trophies are given to the Region Champ and the Region Runner-up. Qualifying Teams and Individuals are responsible for entering the State Meet in accordance with the GISA instructions. The men's individual champion last year was Southland's Wright Calhoun. The women's individual champion was Deerfield-Windsor's Virginia Moore. Southland Academy won both team titles. The top times on the course this year thus far have been turned in by Jacob McLeod (Trinty) and Virginia Moore (Deerfield).
