Region 5AAAA - Cross Country Championships
October 30th
Schedule:
1:45pm Coaches Meeting at the starting line
2:00pm Varsity Boys (top seven)
2:30pm Varsity Girls (top seven)
3:00pm Open Boys/Girls (unlimited)
Awards-To follow the conclusion of the meet
Entries: Due October 28th. We are going to score all four races. We need all of your runners names to do this. Coaches also need to send in to the region secretary their top 12 runners. This form should have been given to you by your Athletic director. This form is due October 15th. You may run any of the runners on that list in the region and state meets, but only the runners on that list may run region or state so make sure it is accurate.

Coaches duties:
Starter: Alexander
1 mile split: Alexander
2 mile split: Alexander
Timing: The Perfect Timing Group
Finish Line Judge: Sandy Creek, Troup
Scoring: Alexander, Carrollton
Jury of Appeals: Carrollton, Sandy Creek, Lagrange
Top ten individuals in each race plus the top two teams will receive medals for their top seven. **The open runners will receive medals.
All GHSA rules will be enforced.
There will be a $5 charge per car. This will not include coaches with GHSA passes or buses. This is to offset the cost of port-a-potties, awards for open races, officials etc.
T-shirts will be available.
Directions to Clinton Farms:
From East: Go I-20west to exit 30 Post Road. Go left, Take the first road on the right is Ephesus Church rd. (there is a stop light there and the road is closed after this point due to the floods) Clinton is 2.5 miles on the Right
