Meet Information
In what was somewhat of a surprise, Shuaib Winters of Heritage ran 17:10 to capture
the boys individual title in Region 8-AAAA. Clarke Central won the team title,
placing 3 runners in the top 5, and 5 runners in the top 16. Also qualifying for
state where Heritage, Loganville, and Salem.
The girls race was dominated by Soibhan Wolcott of Heritage. Wolcott won the girls
title by more than a minute. Heritage captured the team title with 7 girls finishing
in the top 10. Loganville finished as the runners-up. Clarke Central and Eastside
also qualified for the state meet, a first for both of these girls squads
