2012 BATTLE AT THE BRANCH INVITATIONAL

Each school will be allowed to enter 2 athletes per individual event and 1 relay team. Also, you may enter 3 athletes in the distance events (800, 1600, and 3200)
ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED by Wednesday, March 27th, 2012.
No entries will be accepted after this date.

Cost of Entry for Teams and Individual:
ENTRY FEE: $60.00 per team ($110.00 for boys and girls teams).

ADMISSION FEE: $5.00 per adult, $4.00 per student, and 6 and under is free!

T-SHIRTS/CONCESSION: An invitational T-shirt will be sold. Concessions will be available throughout the meet.

Packet Pick-up:
Heat Sheets will be available Friday, March 30th at 4:00 p.m. at the track in the hospitality room. There will be no additions made to the meet after March 28th, 2012. One for One substitution may be made with the Clerk of Course. Meet will start at approximately 4:00 p.m.

Parking:
Team buses must park in designated areas. There will be someone on site to help direct buses to the designated parking and drop off area. We will be adjourning from school at the same time several of you will be arriving. We will direct you to an area behind the school with your buses behind the stadium. You will be able to unload in that area behind the visitor stands. This does not mean you have to set up there. You are welcome to, but there are no restrooms located the visitor stands.

Scoring/Awards:
10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 (top 8 places). Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 teams in Both Boys and Girls Divisions. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 places in each event. Coaches MUST pick up awards at the meet as it is expensive to ship them.

Meet Schedule:
Girls compete first unless otherwise indicated
Once the running events start we will go to a rolling schedule.

4:05 First call for all field event athletes (and 3200m athletes) need to check-in
4:10 National Anthem

4:15 3200m- all sections of the girls- slow heat boys
G Long Jump (Outer Pit, which is behind the shot put throwing area)
B Triple Jump (Inner Pit, in the infield by the pole vault)
G High Jump
G Shot Put
B Discus
G Pole Vault/B Pole Vault (Ran together with opening heights)

5:00 1600m girls followed by boys slower sections
G Triple Jump (Inner Pit, in the infield by the pole vault)
B Long Jump (Outer Pit, which is behind the shot put throwing area)
B High Jump
B Shot Put
G Discus

All field events will feature (3 attempts - no finals)
