Meet Information
NO ENTRY FEES!!!
Races will be held after school at Darlington's Middle School. Course will be on difficult, hilly, dirt mountainous trails (not the Darlington cross country course used for the annual Festival).
Three Races:
4:30- 3rd-5th grade Coed race, scored as a team. Unannounced distance between 2K and 3K.
5:00- 6th-8th grade girls race, scored as a team. Unannounced distance between 3K and 4K.
5:30- 6th-8th grade boys race, scored as a team. Unannounced distance between 3K and 4K.
Races will be scored and there will t-shirts given to the top 10 individual finishers and ALL runners on the winning team in each division.
Times will not be included in the results. This is partially due to the unannounced race distances, partially due to the difficult terrain, but primarily to put the emphasis on place! There will however be a clock at the finish line for coaches who would like to record times for their team.
