Ok.. Now 4 GA Natives w/ US Titles.. HT - Kibwe Johnson, SP - Reese Hoffa (owns furthest throw in the world to this point), TJ - Christian Taylor (owns furthest TJ in the world to this point), 110H - Aries Merritt (owns fastest 110H time in the world to this point). And keep in mind, in tomorrow's 400H final there's Angelo Taylor (Olympic Gold in 'OO and '08 in 400H). If he wins that'd be 5 GA Natives. In doing the quick numbers I can't think of another state w/ more than 2 natives w/ individual winners on the men's side.
And as I posted earlier, your top 2 states last yr at US Nationals in regards to Natives on the men's side: GA - 3, FL - 3.
It's hard to argue against GA in pro level production per-capita. I'll do the total numbers (qualifiers and winners from the trials) and post them on here. I'll factor every state. Georgia (9.8 million) has a chance to be the best OVERALL. I'm gonna guess right now that it's the best per-cap. I could be wrong. We'll have to see.
