Any coaches interested in coming to North Florida and running in the Alligator Lake Invitational please e-mail me dusty@halfmiletiming.com and i would be happy to send you a pdf with all the information. We have several schools from Georgia already attending and it will be a Georgia sanctioned event.

Is this one of the courses that was the subject of that epic flrunners/florida milesplit thread Pre posted? Pre, do you remember?

Meet sounds pretty cool. They have a video of the course up on the FL Milesplit page. The thing that concerns me most about meets in FL is sand on the course.

There is no sand on the course. we always cut the grass very low for firm footing and on the trails its either the same firm grass or in the more shaded areas packed dirt that we steam role at the beginning of the season.

Right now we have 3 schools verbally committed , we have received word that there will be some Alabama schools attending as well. If anyone has not looked where the event is located. We are only 30 minutes from the Fl/Ga line (40 mins from Valdosta).

Coaches,

We still have alot of high schools spots open as well as middle school spots. This event will have a GA sanction and is chipped timed for all middle school and high school divisions. We also offer an open for parents and coaches as well as a elementary mile. If anyone would like more information please feel free to e-mail me dusty@halfmiletiming.com.
