Will there be a summer series like there was in 2010? I thought it was a good way to raise money for the local XC programs as well as get the kids some race experience.

Fast Feet Timing and GA.MILESPLIT.COM are going to once again sponsor the Athens-Oconee Area Summer XC Series which will include 4 low key races at 2 different venues minimum. The races will progress in length beginning with (2) 3Ks then 3 weeks later (2) 4Ks ending with a championship race. Runners can accumulate points for each race determining age group champions for the entire series. More details are coming and most of the entry fees will benefit the host school's XC programs except for awards. Avid Road Racers, Collegiate runners, HS, MS, Elementary and open are all invited to attend and fun runners who just would enjoy the experience of running on an xc course instead of pavement!

3K on Thursday, June 21 at ACS

3K on Thursday, June 28 at NOHS

4k on Thursday, July 19 at AA

4K on Thursday, July 26 at WB

Bibs and safety pins provided, Finish line clock and Split Clock at the midway point on the 3Ks and at the 1m, 2m Marks on the 4Ks. All times will go into athlete's personal Profiles. Finish Lynx will be used also.
