I know this may sound like a blatant plug for Double Dip (9/15), and it sort of isn't, but since many folks have run at Marist at some time in the past I wanted to share some images of our new trails. We added about 0.75m of gravel trail with two bridges and 1.5 hills. We plan on adding another .75m of wooded, mulch trail in the next year or so. okay, i uploaded the pictures and used the "attach uploaded image" button, but what gives! Those were supposed to be in my message and much larger. Help?

@MaristXCcoach my only question is...can we have bigger pictures? I think I can see like grass or something :P

@MaristXCcoach I would say check your pictures and make sure that your actual picture files are larger.

Incredible. I'm sure it was a pretty tough task getting that completed. How did you get the plan approved and how has it been laid down? Do professionals do the work or is the labor under your charge? How does it handle rain? Will you be hosting CC meets on it?

Either way, great looking trail.

I had some say but it was professionally done. We have had property for quite some time that Marist was hoping put some practice fields and a parking lot or two on. They did. I was able to convince them to run a trail along an oil pipeline to make a loop instead of an out and back that would be useless for meets. The company that did the lots and fields constructed this trail. Our next expansion will be done by volunteers and we will be cutting it out ourselves -- it won't be nearly as nice but we hope to add another 0.75m in the next year or so.
