Throwers, jumpers, and vaulters battled stormy skies and rain delays through the morning hours before getting a chance to shine. Eve Machovec captured 1st place in the AAAAA discus with a throw of 137\'10\" while Emily Bernhardt took 2nd. Kristin Smith of Sprayberry captured 1st place in the AAAAA shot put with a 44\' effort, while Lauren Chambers, of Kell, took 3rd place behind Julianna Smith, of Berkmar, as both broke the 41\' barrier.
