Brittany Hall goes 2:08.99 for #3 all time! Shiloh girls take team title in 8-5A

Wondergirl does it again! Brittany Hall posted an eye opening 2:09 in the prelims of the Region 8-AAAAA meet on Saturday but the young runner from Meadowcreek wasn\'t done. She followed that up with a blistering 2:08.99 for number 3 all time in the state. With no 400m to distract her at state, one would think the all time record is in jeopardy. It\'s been a tremendous season so far for this talented young phenom. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for her at state.

In the team competition, Shiloh scored big points in the sprint events to secure the team win over Brookwood 127-93. Lauren Johnson led the way with her big win in the 100m hurdles, clocking a 15.5 for first place. Shiloh also won both the 4x100 and 4x400 relays and even qualified their number 2 4x100 team for state with a 2nd place finish.Naima Hampton took 1st in the 400m with a 58.81 and De\'Airra Leonard took 1st in the 200m ahead of teammate Tierra Bagby.

In the field events, Juliana Smith, of Berkmar, took center stage with a huge performance in the shot put, winning with a toss of 41\'2\". She followed this up with a personal best 120\'7\" effort in the discus for the double win.
