Versatile Hurdler Cameron Murray Commits To Tennessee

Cameron Murray, one of the top returning 110m hurdle and long jumpers in the country, committed to the University of Tennessee over the weekend.

Murray, a senior at Atlanta Westlake (GA), is coming off his best season yet, having won two outdoor state titles in both the long jump and 110m hurdles at the Georgia High School Association Class 7A championships last spring. In July, he also scored a silver medal in the 110m hurdles at the USATF National Junior Olympics.

Murray has earned PBs of 24 feet, 5.5 inches the long jump and has gone 13.53 seconds in the 110m hurdles. Those marks earned him U.S. No. 15 and U.S. No. 6 efforts from last season. Murray has also posted PBs of 43.2.5 in the triple jump, 10.65 in the 100m, and 37.68 seconds in the 300mH, making him one of the best all around athletes returning in the country next year.

He's joining a Volunteer program that has a long history of success in the sprints and jumps.
