Coach Sitton with Chase Kennedy
Coach Sitton has had the honor to have been on the USATF men's long distance running committee since 2005 and will be on staff for the Olympic Trials Marathon staff in Los Angeles, California as a representative of the Men LDR. The race is Saturday, February 13. Coach Sitton leaves February 11 and will come back February 14. "I am looking forward to this great opportunity and be around some great athletes. I appreciate those who have helped me along the way as an athlete and coach"
Coach Tomy Sitton was chosen to be on the staff for Olympic Trials for the Marathan on February 13th 2013 in Los Angeles California. Coach Sitton will not only be on the Staff, but will also serve on the 'Jury of Appeals' for the Men's race. The top 3 men and top 3 women will represent the US in Brazil in the Summer Olympics of 2016.
The Olympic Trials Marathon will be telecast on NBC. The Men's race begins at 10:06am and the Women's race starts at 10:22. A reception for the Olympic Trials will be held Thursday the 11th and the Olympic Trials banquet the night after the race
