Hannah Whitehead led Towns County to the team title
Running in the final race of the 2015 GHSA Cross Country State Championships were the A Public Girls. The quagmire they survived is very commendable..Towns County defended their 2014 title as the mountain school churned to the team title led by Overall Champ Hannah Whitehead as she posted a 22:08, with frosh team mate Taylor Cornett taking runnerup honors in 22:30 and Tara Lee Arrowwood back in 6th in 24:39.
Alli Hay from Pataula Charter raced to 3rd Overall.
Commerce grabbed the 2nd place Podium spot as Kate Massey was 4th Overall going 23:04. Marion County was 3rd teamwise sparked by Kathryn Ta's 9th place finish and Trion took the final team Podium spot of the day behind Savanna Landry's 8th Overall. Rounding out the Individual All-State team were: Alli Hay from Pataula Charter placing 3rd at 22:46, Arneshia Hardee from Telfair County 5th (24:17), Nicole Presley of Baconton Charter 7th and from Schley County in 10th place was Cassandra Williams.
