at&t Panther MS ReCap, Zack Truitt and Nyah Hernandez Take Individual Titles

The Middle School races at the at&t Panther Invitational were very competive. Zack Truitt of Landmark and Nyah Hernandez won the Individual races while Strong Rock Boys and Lovinggood MS Girls took the Team titles.

MS Boys- Zack Truitt of Landmark Christian made it 2 wins in a row taking 1st in 10:18. William Brown of Walton Youth placed 2nd in a solid 10:40 and 7th grader Tate Ellingson was 3rd overall at 10:50. Strong Rock Christian surprised the field winning the team title by 30 points over Landmark Christian by placing 2 runners in the top 10 including 6th grader Noah Kilgore in 8th and Justin George in 10th.

MS Girls- Nyah Hernandez of Creekland MS is no stranger to winning MS races as she motored to a 10:48 taking the overall title. Hopefully she'll go heads up with Bobak and Sydney Runyan at MS State...Katherine Vuckovic of Westminster placed 2nd in 11:16 while Grace Ellsworth led Lovinggood MS to the team title crossing 3rd in 11:16. It was very competitve from 2nd to 4th team places with Renfroe MS 2nd, Union Grove MS 3rd and Mount Paran 4th.
