Carson Dingler Sets a new USA Pole Vault record for 15-year olds with a vault of 13’6

First Presbyterian Day sophomore, Carson Dingler set a new national pole vault record for 15-year olds with a vault of 13'6 at the Griffin High School track meet on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 28. After clearing a vault of 12'9, Dingler set the bar to 13'2 and was successful on her first attempt. Dingler then decided to set the bar at 13'6. Her first vault was unsuccessful, but on the second try, Dingler cleared the additional height to break the state record previously held by her at 13'. Congrats to Carson as she continues to ascend new bars.
