We timed a few races that Dawson Frey competed in and it seems he was always coming up just short placing 2nd or 3rd. Boy did he ever pick the right race to peak in last Saturday as Frey found his groove and motored to the Medium School Individual Championship in 11:29. In the 2013 MS State Championships Frey placed 15th in the Small School Division clocking a 12:20. That's an improvement of14 places and 51 seconds earning Frey the MS Boys 'Runner of the Year'! Congrats Dawson!
