Jenna Gearing led White County's attack looking very strong and in control, winning by over 2 minutes destroying the course record by :59 clocking a 18:59..5A Winder-Barrow made the team race interesting taking 2nd 7 points back. Soph Micah Weathers placed 3rd in 21:04 leading their efforts. Frosh Lindsey Grater took overall runnerup for Chestatee in 20:50.

The Bulldoggs of Winder-Barrow had 5 finishers in the top 17 positions securing the team title. Leading the way in 5th and 6th were seniors Timmy Villameter (18:04) and Nelson Lofton. Johnson's Garardo Suarez (17:00) and White County's Austin Thompson (17:03) put on a good show for the fans placing 1st and 2nd. Johnson is really emerging and has gained a lot of XC respect the past couple of years. They had been a bottom dweller for a long time. Lewis Brooks of Lakeview took 3rd in 17:27 and Jack Carnes of Chestatee placed 4th at 17:45.
