Run Fit Golden Eagle Summary
Eagle's Landing HS brought the heat at their first weekend invitational on their newly resurfaced track facility sweeping both Girls and Boys team titles. Shaw's girls and Griffin's boys finished strong 2nd's. In a much awaited showdown between 1A Boys Private speedsters, OLM's Christian Coleman got the best of ELCA's Jeffrey Uzzell in round one of their head to head battles this season. It was close, but Coleman's 10.70 and 21.61 were bested Uzzell's 10.80 and 21.91...Helen Williams of Atlanta International had a quick 1600 time of 5:12. Host Eagle's Landing was sparked by Gino Fabrezio's double in the throws and their winning 4x800 meter squad. The Lady Golden Eagles picked up alot of their points with 2nd and 3rd place finishes with Gabrielle Youngener winning the TJ in 34-10 while placing 2nd in the LJ. Their 4x400 squad sealed the team win clocking 4:12.89.
