A Public Boys- Georgia Military Wins Team Championship and Lee of Gordon Lee Wins Overall

GMC prophetically ran to the 1A Public team title. The Cadets had raced on a few real courses, and this experience played a huge factor in wnning the 1A Public Boys team title as predicted. GMC train hard and actively compete throughout the season. The Cadets put 4 boys in the top 8 spots to seal the team title. Will Archer led the charge placing 2nd in 17:48 followed by Tom Drew in 4th, Ethan Spires 7th and Chase Sheffield 8th. Jenkins County was team runnerup led by Mark Brannen, Commerce and Claxton also made the Podium and all these kids enjoyed the fruits of their labors on the victory stand. The individual race was a carbon copy of the Area 4 meet with Gordon Lee's Dylan Smith besting Archer with a respectable time of 17:39. Brannen of Jenkins County was 3rd in 17:49.
